Job Economics:

- Salary: $230k starting (new grads welcome!) - $270k max for experience

- Sign-on bonus of $20k for a 2-year commitment, no relocation

- PTO: 24 days of PTO per year – includes sick days

- 4 days of CME PTO

- Full benefits – personal and family plans

- Health, Dental, Vision, Malpractice, & 401(k) – 3% safe harbor

- Call schedule – 1 in 9 holidays work as backup call to the resident

- Optional to take first call for extra compensation

- No weekday call

- Additional earning – Working scheduled off days - $200/hr.

- Working first call on weekend $180/hr.

- Overtime – if you work over 40 hours make $180/hr for those hours

- If you work over 40 on your day off make $360/hr for those hours

Job Description:

- Practice setting: OhioHealth Doctors Hospital

- Fairly independent, but always with MD coverage when needed

- Team description: 8 MDS, 9 CRNAS, and 9 Residents

- Flexible schedules, can do 4x10 – waterfall model

- You may go home 10 hours before, may work beyond

- Average hours per week is 32-36 hours

- Can work 4 or 5 days per week, everyone works 4 with 1 day off

- No nights, but weekends are required – 48 hour home call

- Demographics – Everything, all 13+yo, only peds cases are ortho for sports injuries

- Low acuity and low complexity cases

- No OB, hearts, thoracic, heads, peds (non-ortho), MRI sedation.

- Credentialing – 3 months

- EMR: Epic

Interview Process

Phone discussion about the position initially. If there is interest, the candidate offered to visit the site and meet the team. Very informal in person interview. More like the candidate is interviewing the team.
